About Molly
I am a recent graduate from Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington completing a Bachelor of Biomedical Science. I am currently completing my Master's of Secondary Teaching and Learning in Biology at the University of Canterbury. I have tutored NCEA students and university students for the past 3 years including as a part of a tutoring company and privately. I love tutoring and the rewarding feeling of helping others. I am a kind and friendly person and I really enjoy interacting with students and helping them reach their goals. I want to be a teacher who inspires students to be the best they can and achieve their goals no matter how big or small by providing a supportive, warm environment for students to thrive in.

I am confident in tutoring biology, math (mainly statistics and algebra), and chemistry and have previous experience tutoring both NCEA students and university students. I am an empathetic, kind and patient person which I bring with my approach to tutoring. I am flexible with lesson structure and often let the lesson flow to what the student's needs are. I provide lots of encouragement and support to students while also helping students become more independent with their learning and problem-solving. My lessons typically go for 1 hour but I am always happy to read drafts, check practice exams or answer questions outside of lesson time.
