Thirteen years ago I stepped into the Australian Latin music scene and never looked back. Playing shows across the country shaped how I view the fretboard during my 11 years of teaching. My Bachelor of Arts in Music and Spanish from the University of Melbourne provides the foundation for my approach.
Whether guiding kids through their first songs or helping teens master complex solos, I value clarity. I have worked with hundreds of pupils who started as absolute beginners. Seeing them move from struggling with simple strumming patterns to playing full pieces is rewarding. My journey as a touring musician keeps my perspective grounded in real world performance.
I enjoy sharing how music theory and improvisation actually function on stage. Hopefully I can welcome you to the community soon. Your musical growth matters to me.
