About Lisa
I teach and mentor students of various ages through the Embudo Tutoring program here in Northern New Mexico. It is a program that works with the school district and helps many students reach their academic goals. Tutoring is not simply about giving techniques on a certain subject but helping a student believe they can learn, inspiring a student that their best is enough and that we all have challenges to overcome.

Writing is my passion and has always been. I believe that knowing a culture is knowing how they speak and why. What is the story behind slang language? Where do I find my inspiration? When is perfect grammar necessary or not? I teach with a very genuine way of expressing myself and through conversation and technique, you learn.
