About Aurora

I am a vocalist, composer, pianist, and International Music Award winner, inspired by music in all its forms, with over 15 years of experience as a professional musician. I am based in the UK and hold a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Jazz (both with Distinction).

I studied at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire and the Conservatorio Statale di Musica Jacopo Tomadini. In 2022, I was granted the UK Global Talent Visa and was nominated for “Top 50 Artists Worldwide” and “Best Pop Act” at the Show4Me Music Awards.

Recent performance highlights include: The BritFest with Tunde Baiyewu (of Lighthouse Family), Sounds of Europe Festival, LoveBird Festival, Chaplins Underground, Opera House Doha (Qatar) with Dana Al Fardan, Albert’s Schloss (Birmingham), PizzaExpress Live, Italy’s Got Talent, Scenes (USA), Sidmouth Fringe Sessions, Symphony Hall, Gaiajazz Festival, and Dolomiti Blues & Soul Festival, among many others.

In 2024, I completed my second European tour, presenting new music from my upcoming album in Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, and the UK. I currently teach music in London, preparing students for examinations. In addition, I work as a musical director at a live music venue.

ABOUT
I have been playing music since I was seven years old, following in my older brother’s footsteps. He is also a composer and singer, and I grew up attending his band’s rehearsals and concerts, where the song arrangements were created. When I was twelve, I spent my days at the piano or dancing in the living room to the music of The Blues Brothers. I was not interested in video games or even television — music was always on my mind.

I grew up listening to a wide range of musical genres, from Johann Sebastian Bach to Aretha Franklin, and creating music became a form of therapy for my soul.

I truly believe music is the language of the universe — a key to creativity and a powerful support for mental and physical wellbeing. Throughout the years, music has helped me through many challenges and has made my days brighter. As a teacher, I aim to transmit the love I feel for this extraordinary art form, while helping students develop the skills they need to achieve their goals. I create individual programmes tailored to each pupil’s interests and aspirations.

About the lesson

I am a professional musician with over +15 of experience and teacher with a passion for helping students unlock their full potential. I offer personalised lessons in piano, singing, songwriting, and music theory, tailored to each student’s goals and strengths. My teaching is supportive, inspiring, and structured — creating an environment where questions are welcomed, mistakes are embraced, and creativity can flourish. Together, we focus on developing skills, building confidence, and discovering the joy of making music.

Perfect! What can I say.. Aurora is a lovely person with MEGA competence in music both practically and theory.

I'm with her for Jazz Piano specifically (from basically beginner level), and just a few lessons in I really like how thoughtful she is when it comes to her actual teaching and task/lesson planning - and also patience, not frustrated at silly mistakes etc which sounds mad but some teachers are like that!

She is a MUSICIAN FIRST - which is something that was really important to me finding a teacher, a lot of times you will find a teacher who is only that - yes they can play and teach, but they don't have that 'spark' if you know what I mean.

I could say a bunch more, but seriously if you're considering her as a teacher - go for it!

Perfect! Aurora has been absolutely fantastic. We invited her to lead our youth music project with young children, and she has exceeded all expectations. The children genuinely love her and look forward to every session.

She is highly engaging, brings great energy, and creates a positive and inclusive environment for everyone involved. She manages behaviour exceptionally well and is confidently able to lead and control a group of 15 to 20 children on her own with professionalism and warmth.

We genuinely cannot fault her. She has been a huge asset to our project, and we would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a talented and reliable music tutor.

I was looking for a singer for the song I had written and hadn't found anyone in months when I met Aurora through chance. I asked her if she would be interested and she immediately agreed, which was one of the best things that could happen.

Not only is she an amazing singer, but she is pro-active as well, always trying to find ways to make it sound better. She is very hard-working and takes her job seriously to achieve the best. Aurora shows her ambition by not stopping before she knows she ras reached the best she can do (and her best is very high-standard and high quality)!
