About Mike
I have over 30 years of experience as a freelance writer, in a career that has included multiple literary sales and commissions of screenplays, TV scripts, stand-up comedy, poetry, social media content, educational resources, business media, and journalism. I have won multiple screenwriting awards at a wide range of UK and international film festivals, and am a member of the National Association of Writers in Education. Alongside this, my academic career includes a Theatre Studies Degree from the UK's prestigious Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance, and a Master of Arts Degree (with distinction) in Screenwriting from Falmouth University, ranked the #1 university in the UK for arts programmes. I am currently researching for a PhD at the Shakespeare Institute in Stratford-upon-Avon.
