About Elijah
I am a professional violinist currently playing in the First Violin section of the Butte Symphony Orchestra. Over the past decade, I've served as Concertmaster for music festivals, performed as a statewide concerto soloist, and played traditional fiddle music for hundreds of visitors in Yellowstone National Park. My musical journey has been shaped by rigorous private study under premier instructors and years of high-level ensemble playing. This deep artistic background, combined with education and leadership experience, allows me to bring discipline, structure, patience, and most importantly joy to my teaching.

My lessons focus on developing a secure technical foundation while fostering a genuine love for music. Drawing from over a decade of training, orchestra performance, and fiddle experience, I tailor my instruction to each student's goals. Beginners will develop proper technique and foundational music theory, while intermediate students will refine precision, expression, and performance. As an experienced youth leader, I bring a structured, patient, and encouraging environment to every session, ensuring clear step-by-step progress whether you want to play classical concertos or upbeat folk fiddle.
