About Carlos
I speak four languages (English, Spanish, Italian and French). Different to other tutors, my background is in the cultural sector. I graduated in History of Art and Architectural History, with career experience in museums, historic houses, and art galleries (often in other languages!). Because of this, I understand the importance of good oral presentation skills. My approach is very patient and friendly, while still providing classes that are rigorous and engaging.

When it comes to teaching English as a foreign language, my focus is on oral presentation skills as well as grammar and written proficiency. To achieve this, classes are normally 45 minutes to an hour long, centring on discussion and debate, as well as image-based analytical skills and essay writing. I am very experienced, 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certified, and my lessons can be adapted to all ages. I offer English Language tuition, but I am also happy to provide essay proofreading at all levels.
