About Austin
I see myself as a well-rounded jack of all things Graphics, with a specialization in Animation, Motion Graphics, Product and Architectural visualizations. I have a strong background in the Fine Arts and have been formally trained as an Autodesk Maya 3D Artist. I taught an Intro to Maya class at CTI in 2012 and found it to be a very rewarding experience.
What I do is more of a way of life than it is a mere job. As such, I derive a lot of satisfaction delivering work of a very high standard. I love creating fluid and eye-catching graphics that keep the user wanting to see more.

About the lesson

I teach students using a step by step example method. That way the student will get hands-on and this helps them to become more confident using Maya in its entirety. I supplement this practical step work with some theory to help the student understand the context of the topic at hand.
Only by performing the manual tasks associated with doing 3D work will the concepts sink in
and the proper way to use a 3D application stick with you.
