About Rowan

My teaching approach is centered around adapting to each student's learning style, ensuring that I cater to visual, auditory, and hands-on learners. In Architecture, I focus on making complex design concepts accessible and engaging, using a combination of lectures, practical exercises, and software tools like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp. Problem-solving is at the heart of my methodology; I guide students through real-life design challenges to enhance their critical thinking and decision-making skills. Patience is key in my sessions—every student learns at their own pace, and I provide clear explanations to help them grasp difficult topics. I also incorporate relevant subjects like Structural Design, Sustainability, and Urban Planning to give students a well-rounded understanding of Architecture. My goal is to build both technical expertise and a creative mindset, empowering students to confidently approach any design problem.

About the lesson

With over 9 years of experience in teaching Architecture to college students, I bring a deep understanding of both the technical and creative aspects of the field. My teaching style is interactive, focusing on real-world applications and hands-on learning. I believe in making complex concepts easy to grasp through visual aids, 3D modeling software, and detailed case studies. My classes are structured to foster creativity while emphasizing precision and attention to detail in design.

I use innovative methods such as project-based learning, where students work on real-life design projects, encouraging them to think critically and solve architectural challenges. I also integrate technology by teaching software like AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp, ensuring students are proficient with the tools they will use in the professional world.

My approach is patient and supportive, always tailored to the individual needs of each student. I aim to not only build technical skills but also inspire passion for Architecture, helping students feel confident and motivated throughout their studies.
