About Shara
I am an NCIDQ certified Interior Designer with over a decade of experience working across healthcare, commercial, and residential projects. I currently work in federal healthcare design, leading space planning, interior documentation, and coordination for renovation and new construction projects within complex environments.
My background includes work with both the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and United States Department of Defense, where I have contributed to high performance environments that require precision, coordination, and strict design standards. This experience has shaped how I approach design in a strategic, efficient, and real world way.
I have worked across high end healthcare environments, commercial interiors, and residential design, including private housing and complex renovations. This range allows me to understand how design decisions impact not just aesthetics, but workflow, function, and long term usability.
My expertise is in space planning, furniture layouts, and interior documentation, the part of design that determines whether a project actually works.
I work with students, designers, and professionals who want to strengthen their technical skills.

I teach AutoCAD from a real-world interior designer’s perspective, focusing on the shortcuts, techniques, and workflows that help you work faster and more efficiently.
With over 12 years of experience using AutoCAD, I’ve developed practical ways to navigate drawings, make changes quickly, and produce drawings without overcomplicating the process.
My lessons are tailored to your current skill level and the type of work you actually do. We’ll identify what’s slowing you down and focus on techniques you can immediately apply to your workflow.
My goal isn’t to teach you every technical feature in AutoCAD, it’s to help you become faster, more confident, and more resourceful when using CAD for interior design.
