About Gary
I am a published author and working on finishing a trilogy and the second book of a four-part series. In regard to teaching, I have homeschooled my grandchildren and taught numerous children to play chess. In order to be effective, it requires patience and making sure to provide enough challenge to foster a desire to learn, while keeping it entertaining.

As an author I have found it important to have a good foundation in English and spelling to be a good writer. It's also imperative to be a proficient reader. My goal is to impart a love of reading and writing. I am open to teach anyone that desires to learn how to read and write better.
