About Josie
I am a passionate teacher who guides learners to set achievable goals and extend themselves. I have taught students and teachers in Australia, Japan, Norway and Russia. Students enjoy setting their own goals and I guide them in ways to achieve academically, emotionally and socially. I have a large toolbag of teaching and learning methods to draw upon and incorporate students passions in their learning, keeping it real!

I am a lifelong learner who encourages curiosity in my students. My lessons are based generally divided into three, 'What do I need to know?', explicit instruction, student experiment with knowing (practise skills and ideas), and achievable goal setting. I believe that everyone is on a learning journey and capable.
