About David
With my practical legal experience in representing over 5,000 clients both in Australia and the U.S. I am uniquely qualified to teach you just about anything legally related.
I struggled during my Juris Doctor program, from a top 15 law school, which used an overly academic approach, filled with legal jargon. Tutoring was not available to me as a law student, but I believe that if I had been able to get some tutoring, I would have had a better experience overall.
I enjoy helping students navigate the pitfalls in legal study, by breaking down complex concepts to a practical easily understandable. Using my class outlines will prepare you for your assignments and exams, reducing your anxiety, and increasing your results.

I tailor each session to your individual needs, including course overview, assignment and exam prep. I go beyond the academics, including real-life experiences from my 34 years in practice, preparing you for working with future lawyers and clients.
I offer course-specific tutoring, such as Torts or Contracts, and depending on your needs, provide an outline for either one concept or an outline for an entire subject, if you sign up for packaged tutoring sessions.
Group discounts available, so speak with friends, and I will set up a group tutoring session. In-person tutoring available in the
ACT, in a quiet public space if desirable.
Also, I teach courtroom preparation, trial practice, all forms of
Alternative Dispute Resolution, such as mediation and arbitration, using real-life fact patterns and evidence so that you can begin your legal career with confidence.
They filmed many episodes of "Breaking Bad" in front of my office in Albuquerque, New Mexico, so my real-life experiences from the U.S. are very colorful, offering you the chance to learn how as a lawyer you might need to provide legal advice across many areas stemming from your clients' legal needs.
