About Amy
I am an undergraduate Biology major at UT Austin. Having navigated my freshman year with a strong academic focus, I want to help K-12 students build the solid foundational skills they need to succeed in math and science. My background in student leadership and competitive athletics has taught me the importance of clear goal-setting and effective time management. I aim to bring that same structured, practical approach to my tutoring sessions to help students gain confidence.

I provide structured, engaging math and science tutoring for K-12 students. I aim to focus my lessons on blending rigorous academic support with personalized mentorship to help students excel.
A typical lesson begins with a diagnostic review of current school material. We review previous homework, clarify lingering questions, and target any concepts that felt shaky. Afterwards we dive into new material using interactive problem solving, breakdown of complex topics, and collaborative practice. The lesson ends with a student walking through a problem independently to show they've mastered the concept before we wrap up the session with a plan for the following week.
My lessons are designed for K-12 students looking to build strong foundational habits, master math and science, or navigate the college preparation process with confidence.
