About Miles
My name is Miles, I’m 16 and music is my passion. I’ve been playing guitar for 8+ years and I currently play in two different bands. My rock band Steel Wool that I write and perform music in. We play regular shows around local venues and have a 90s alternative inspired sound. Also the Gitbox Rebellion, a multiple piece acoustic guitar band that’s been playing and creating since the 80s. I only recently joined but after playing a couple shows it’s become a great enjoyment for me. I love all things music and want to spend more time teaching kids and continuing the cycle that I learned in when I was younger. I’ve also performed many a shows with local artist flea miller. I was his lead guitarist and I’ve attached a video down below of a live recording we did.

I’m an experienced guitarist with 8 years playing in multiple different genres and bands. I’ve taught multiple kids before and I’m still a learner myself. Through my course I’ll begin your child’s musical growth on the guitar. I can offer 30-minute or hour-long weekly lessons to whatever is preferred, and if ever they want to change lesson durations that’s alright too. Through our lessons I’ll teach and show your child the fun and enjoyment playing the guitar can bring.
