About Emily
I have been through the system myself and know how frustrating it is when you just can't get your head around something or just can't improve your grades. If that's where you are at or if you just want to feel more confident in a subject then extra tutoring is a perfect way to do that. I learnt such good 'soft skills' from a tutor when I was at school e.g. clever techniques for picking up marks during exams. I think it's really important to like the person tutoring you and not to have a teacher - student dynamic, but feel more like a respected peer. I am super patient and will stay as long as you need until you really feel confident and comfortable to go forth alone!

Passionate about building good relationships with kids and teenagers to help them feel confident and improve their understanding. Strong understanding of learning from educational psychology focus during my degree. Work with a non verbal brain damaged patient taught me a strong skill set for working in sensitive situations. Comfortable teaching up to GCSE level. Flexible on lesson length depending on needs.
