About Alexander
Hello, I'm Alexander Palmer! The IB is an INSANE journey. Without the right approach to juggle IAs, massive amounts of content and a multitude of exams it can be overwhelming. I'm here to help you.
I recently graduated as dux of Newington College, achieving the highest possible score of 45/45 in the IB (99.95 ATAR equivalent). I am currently studying the Doctor of Medicine (MD) at the University of Sydney (USYD) having graduated in 2024 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) majoring in Immunology & Pathology as well as Philosophy. I have over 4 years of tutoring experience (300+ hours).

Reflection
Determination involves directing yourself towards a certain goal. Firstly, tutoring with me will involve setting individual goals and tracking your progress. Secondly, hard work, although important, is most efficient when well-directed. In our sessions, I will share efficient study methods and determine what works best for you so that you can maximise your potential. Finally, self-reflection will involve identifying key areas which need strengthening so that you can boost your marks. By working through past-paper questions we will consolidate your knowledge and ensure that any weaker areas are addressed to maximise your success.
Lessons are held online over zoom or any other preferred platform.
