My teaching style is highly personalised to your personal academic goals whereby tutoring sessions are always shaped around maximising your success in internal assessment tasks. This means that each class, there will be a brief revision on prior topics to be covered in exams rather than blindly moving forward and covering new content. This will provide the opportunity for me to foster engagement, assess progress and identify weaknesses.
Furthermore I teach Maths and Science in a highly systematic manner which is best in maximising exam marks. This is what improved my ranking from 103 in year 9 to 13 in year 12. Most remarkably, my Maths rank jumped from 80 in year 11 exam to as high as 3 in year 12. For topics which consistently recur in exams, I will provide you with a personalised cheatsheet.
️For maths: this involves a list of possible cases questions can be asked and different methods you have to solve questions
️For science: this involves a list of 'keywords' required to score full marks in extended response questions and common careless mistake traps.
