About Sony
I am a Lecturer in English Language and Literature in an Aided College in Kerala.I have been teaching English since 1998 although I was appointed in regular service only in 2005. I used to teach students of IELTS,spoken English and school /college going students.

In fact Idon't stick to a strict pattern as any one method or pattern would prove useless to all categories of students.So for IELTS students I follow mostly a practical method of giving them tests based on the materials of previous tests and later enable them to detect their own weak points.Here the aim is only to improve their score.This is not what Spoken English students want. Therefore I provide them with real or imaginary situations in life provoke them to use English to communicate in such situations. I get involved in the process and thus students learn through speaking.According to the demand of students ,occasionally I resort to a kind of academic teaching especially when literature is to be learnt.
