About Douglas
I have been tutoring since high school, primarily in speech and literary analysis. I have also taught karate for four years and spent two years tutoring a family of Chinese immigrants; they are now all employed and fluent. Although I specialize in poetics for analysis, the core principles are universal, I believe teaching is learning how to assist others in learning.
