About
I have been teaching Spanish, French, and Italian for over seven years. I have had the wonderful opportunity to teach a vastly diverse student population that includes heritage speakers, non-traditional students, and students with special needs. I have helped students with no background in a second language become proficient in the language of their choice and proficient students perfection their second (or third) language.

I am passionate about teaching foreign languages to enable my students to find their voice in a second (or third) language and to experience and connect with diverse people in the world and within this country. My goal as language tutor and instructor is to be a facilitator that promotes global awareness and cultural conciseness to create bridges, understanding, and unity across diverse communities locally and globally. I meet my students where they are at, and help them develop their language skills with empathy and encouragement. I teach all levels and ages. I have a M.A. in Linguistics.
