About Journee

I underwent my undergraduate education in Texas. I was an NCAA student-athlete and maintained a 4.0 throughout the degrees (English and Pre-law). I moved abroad to the UK to attend a Russell Group school, the University of Bristol, for my MA in English Literature. The multicultural experience and exposure to the British system has given me a rounded approach and understanding of my field. I attended the University of Exeter (a Russell Group School) for my PhD in English. I have a passion for the field and enjoy teaching/tutoring others!

About the lesson

My approach is based off of your personal needs and goals. Depending on your needs, I can explain concepts, answer questions, teach methodologies, or offer feedback on assignments. I take a range of approaches to reinforce learning, including interactive discussion, test prep, drafting exercises, and hands-on learning. My approach is to assess the student's current skill set and create scaffolded sessions for them personally.
