I have worked in education for over 15 years, working all the way up to Assistant Principal.
I am a qualified SENCo and so by my very nature I am here to support in a positive way. I want to tutor as I enjoy giving students meaningful educational experiences.

I pride myself on giving students the individualised and specific learning approach that they need, so that we can ensure the best possible outcomes. All within a safe space that builds confidence, creativity and critical thinking.
My unique approach allows students to learn through real life experiences and real world situations. Giving them a narrative to hold empathy and consideration of how to analyse key messages.
My lessons last for 45 mins and I also provide homework to embed the learning from the session.
I will use the first lesson as an assessment to gauge the students ability.
I would need to know exam board, texts being studied and any areas that parents/student or teaching staff would prefer be focused on.
Each session will start with us looking at a past exam question.
We will establish contextual understanding of the students knowledge. I will then provide any gaps in learning to ensure a full depth analysis is possible.
We will then break down the question, it’s meaning and how to structure an answer.
Students will draft an answer with me and develop working within a frame if required.
I will provide live feedback.
Students will then complete the question/s in full and have in handed back to me via email within 48hours of the next session.
Each lesson will then be built around the answers and how we improve techniques for highest marks.
