About Emily
I have always been an autodidact of sorts, a cultivator of knowledge and an extremely motivated person. I achieved an associates Degree in the arts with a slight emphasis on English and Literature with a 4.0 GPA the same year I graduated high school! I am an aspiring novelist and have had a creative piece published in the Cedar Shakes Review, 2016, at Inver Hills Community College, of which I was a contributing editor. I also have over five years of editing and reviewing experience as a volunteer for Bookhive.corp. I have experience editing and advising for creative writing, literary analysis, reading and writing comprehension and research papers.

I approach learning by cultivating a passion for each topic, basing education on enthusiasm, effort and positive reinforcement, rather than memorization and dictation. I believe that when one is motivated by interest and excitement, there is no subject that cannot be mastered. I believe no two people learn exactly the same and understanding the individual learning patterns and needs of each student cultivates the best atmosphere for academic achievement.
