About Veniamin

As an aspiring mathematician and scientist, I hope to instil a love for the subject in as many students as I can. During GCSEs and A-levels, I always volunteered for maths and chemistry tutoring because I really loved helping others understand how they work. I like to hear pupils have achieved a higher grade than before and understood the knowledge properly. When I studied GCSEs and A-levels, I improved my organisation skills to prioritise and prepare for exams, presentations and homework. I love explaining the knowledge using facts and different examples and methods in order for the pupil to understand it the best way possible. During secondary school, I took part in various competitions in maths, chemistry, biology, physics and with a lot of exam techniques and hard work I won first place in chemistry and third place in maths in the whole county, which I am really proud of.

About the lesson

During my lessons, I help the pupil improve their knowledge in different topics while building their confidence with exam techniques, using many different exam questions. Even if the pupil doesn't know what topics they are unsure of, I have always prepared a few exam questions on different topics for the first lesson that the pupil can try so I can identify any weaknesses and help the student improve them. Firstly, I want to make sure that the knowledge behind the topic is well taught by me before I give any exam questions. My lessons normally include a lot of exam-styled questions, because if the pupil sees a lot of different questions, then this will build up confidence with exam technique and also can see different perspectives and application questions in which the exam boards use in exams. I want to make sure that the knowledge behind the topic is well taught by me before I give any exam questions. During secondary school, like a lot of pupils, I had one of those teachers who didn't really care so much about helping me understand, so I know what it feels like when you need help with a certain topic but you do not get a good explanation. So, I will definitely try my best using different techniques to improve the pupil's understanding of the topics to get the best outcome.

Veniamin was my tutor in another platform and he helped me improve my grade in maths and science so I was on a grade 6 in maths and I was able to get a grade 9 by the end of year 11, so he was able to improve my Grade only for six months. Also, I was doing triple science and he helped me improve my grade and I got get grade 9 in chemistry and grade 9 in physics and grade 8 in biology. Overall, I'm very impressed by his teaching skills
