About Sandy

I love anatomy and physiology, which is why I've been a professor at the the community college level for over 20 years. My college enrolls students of all backgrounds and levels, so I have developed ways to teach both prepared and under-prepared students with engaging and interesting methods. I remember struggling as a student, and wishing my instructor would help me figure everything out. So, when I become a professor, I worked not just on teaching content, but showing students ways to learn that help them in all their classes, not just mine. I will help you start off your health career with confidence.

Ask Dr. Z! I've been a community college professor for over 20 years, and can show you how to organize and recall any material in ways that lean on your own strengths. Watching and reading are not a way to remember information, but speaking, performing, drawing, writing, and discussing are! Plus, they are way more active and interesting.Once you understand HOW to learn, you won't need endless tutoring. I will guide you through the academic skills needed to pass your classes, and succeed your professional program.
