About Uma
With 12 years of teaching experience, I have dedicated myself to helping school students, college students, and working professionals learn Guitar with confidence. Teaching music has given me the opportunity to inspire learners and support them in achieving their musical dreams.
My teaching philosophy focuses on making learning simple, structured, and enjoyable. I believe that students perform best when lessons are customised according to their pace and interests. I encourage regular practice and provide continuous support throughout the learning process.
I teach chords, scales, rhythm patterns, fingerstyle techniques, ear training, music theory, and performance skills. My classes are designed to develop both technical ability and musical understanding.
Many of my students have successfully participated in cultural programmes and stage performances. Their dedication and achievements continue to motivate me as an educator.
I strive to create a learning experience that helps students become confident musicians and lifelong lovers of music.

I believe that music learning should be enjoyable and inspiring for students of all ages. My teaching style combines patience, compassion, communication, and encouragement to create a supportive learning experience.
My Guitar lessons are tailored according to each student's goals and skill level. Beginners focus on basic techniques and rhythm exercises, while intermediate and advanced students work on scales, fingerstyle methods, improvisation, and performance preparation.
I encourage students to participate actively and communicate openly during lessons. This helps build confidence and creates a strong connection between teacher and student. Regular practice schedules and progress reviews ensure continuous improvement.
Besides Guitar, I also teach music theory, rhythm studies, ear training, and music appreciation. These additional subjects help students improve listening skills and develop a deeper understanding of music.
My objective is to help students build confidence and enjoy the process of learning music.
