About Ofelia
"Years spent performing on stage and in the studio led me to this specific teaching philosophy. That transition from live venue to classroom informs how I approach hand independence, music theory, scales and arpeggios, and ear training with every student. Developing proficiency in pop, contemporary, and classical repertoire requires serious discipline, so I emphasize sight reading and sight playing early on.
My 13 years of experience and Artist Diploma from Berklee College of Music ensure a technical foundation. I personally enjoy watching students translate practice into real, audible progress."
