About Julliana
Hi! I’m an art history graduate with 3 years of experience helping students feel more confident in the subject. I love making art history feel less intimidating by connecting it to modern culture and breaking things down in a way that actually makes sense.
I’ve worked with students on memorizing movements, organizing their ideas, and learning how to analyze artworks so writing essays becomes much easier. I was also president of my university’s art history organization, where I created programs to help non-art history majors learn how to think like art historians in their free time.
My goal is to make sessions supportive, engaging, and even fun—so you don’t just study art history, you actually enjoy it.

Teaching Method & Approach:
I like to make art history feel real and relevant by connecting it to modern culture and everyday life. I break things down in a clear, structured way and focus a lot on helping students understand *how* to analyze artworks—not just memorize them.
NON-NEGOTIABLE: you must send me a message with subject matter, or specific questions/topics you need help with a week in advance so I can prepare the lesson adequately!
We’ll usually go over key concepts or movements, then practice analyzing artworks together so you can build confidence for essays. I also help with organizing your thoughts and developing ways to remember material without it feeling overwhelming.

I’m structured, encouraging, and bring a fun, dynamic energy to sessions. I was also president of my university’s only art history organization, where I led programs teaching non-art history majors how to approach and understand art history on their own.
Who I Teach:
I work with both younger students and high school/college students. For younger learners, I teach general history, social studies, and English, focusing on building strong foundations, organization, and confidence. For older students, I specialize in art history—helping with essays, memorization of movements, and developing clear, structured ways to analyze artworks.
