About the lesson

I’m a Maths tutor with over 10 years of experience and an MSc in Mathematical Modelling. I am deeply passionate about exploring how mathematics can illuminate the social sciences. My work focuses on network theory and agent-based modelling. These tools allow me to study how social structures form and evolve over time. I also investigate the spread of information and disease through communities. Collective behaviour fascinates me—how individual actions combine to shape group dynamics is endlessly intriguing. In my lessons, I guide students to apply quantitative methods to real-world human systems. We use mathematical models to uncover patterns and relationships that are not immediately visible. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving in every session. Students learn not only to calculate, but to interpret and analyse social phenomena.
