About Susie
I never degrade or demoralize my students. Respect is earned. Positivity and joy are foundational in my approach to teaching. Negativity has no place in education. We'll explore your student's special learning style. Whether it's Kinesthetic, Auditory, Visual and/or Reading/Writing. We'll use the style or combination that suits them. I tutored a first grader 15 years ago. We had a wonderful teacher/student relationship. I was in a store when this huge man ran up to me and hugged me. I was confused. He exclaimed, "Miss Susan! Don't you remember me? I was your student!" There are not many things on earth that make you so happy and fulfilled.

I listen very carefully, examine the student's abilities, strengths, and comprehension. From there, we'll explore fun ways to truly understand the subjects. I use music, mnemonics, and positivity to reach and teach my students.
