About Anthony
Confidence grows when you hear your own notes ringing out clearly against a track. Imagine the vibration of your strings echoing through the room as you find the perfect pocket in a rhythm. I provide custom backing tracks so students can practice soloing at home between our sessions.
We cover lead guitar, rhythm guitar, and songwriting in a way that respects the roots of Latin music. Because I hold a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy, I ensure you have a solid technical foundation. Whether you are a kid, an absolute beginner, or a professional, we will work on your tuning and maintenance. I teach barre chords, scales, and modes with a focus on blues progressions.
Grade exam prep is available for those who want that structure. You will gain the skills needed to perform with genuine feeling. Your musical path is just beginning.

Growing up in San Juan shaped the way I hear music today. You might notice that I play with a specific intensity because my style is rooted in the authentic feel of Latin music. Having earned a Diploma of Music from JMC Academy, I have spent 13 years refining these techniques. My teaching approach combines voice, Spanish, and guitar because the soul of this genre is lost if you try to translate it.
I have worked with kids, absolute beginners, and busy working professionals who want to find their own sound. My experience includes teaching chord transitions, tuning, maintenance, scales, modes, and blues progressions. I also guide students through grade exam prep and songwriting.
Barre chords become much easier to manage when you understand the physical placement required. You can trust that I keep things friendly and patient.
