About Silas
"Teaching exists to simplify the BIOLOGY complexities that confuse most pre-med candidates. My 5 years of tutoring 119 students have refined my ability to explain cell biology and mitosis and meiosis.
I earned my BS in Biochemistry from Yale before entering my 4th year of medical school at MIT. I focus on photosynthesis and respiration along with the scientific method.
My explanations of human anatomy and the nervous system are rooted in clinical application. I also cover ecology and ecosystems to ensure total comprehension. Results come from consistent practice."
