About Genesis
Teaching biology is rarely about memorizing facts, even if that is how most textbooks present the subject. My practice centers on immunology basics, microbiology, and the nervous system. Scientific method, exam technique, and photosynthesis and respiration remain core pillars of my work.
I also cover food webs and energy flow, the circulatory system, and mitosis and meiosis. Across 7 years, I have helped many students find clarity in these complex systems. It is always rewarding to see a student finally grasp a concept that felt out of reach. I look forward to working with you soon.

Clarity defines the rhythm of our time together as we navigate high school biology content. I work through problems clearly, ensuring you can feel the progress as we move forward.
Weekly practice questions with feedback are central to this process for every student. As a PhD candidate in Biochemistry at the University of Canterbury, I rely on my 7 years of teaching experience to explain dense theory.
You will find that these sessions are steady and purposeful. I enjoy helping people connect the dots between theory and exam success. It is quite fulfilling to witness those lightbulb moments when a difficult topic suddenly makes perfect sense. I hope to help you build your confidence in the classroom.
