About Eloise
My lessons turn the challenge of intonation into a creative practice. Music is essentially physics controlled by the human spirit.
We work on tuning by ear, spiccato, and staccato bowing to build your technical range. My MMus degree informs every correction I offer regarding your posture or tone production.
Clear communication is essential. I provide a monthly progress report shared with parents to ensure consistency for younger students. We examine music theory to deepen your connection to the repertoire.

The bow grip is the foundation of every resonant tone I produce in my studio. With an MMus from Laval Faculté de musique, I have spent 13 years refining the art of shifting positions, vibrato, and bowing techniques. I have successfully guided 341 students toward orchestral playing and musical maturity.
Sometimes, even the smallest adjustment to your posture changes everything. I bring 13 years of rigorous Conservatoire training to every session.
My goal is to make these technical concepts accessible to performance-focused students and hobbyists. I find deep satisfaction in watching returning learners rediscover their technique. My own path is defined by a commitment to the clarity of sound.
