About Kathleen
Exam candidates, GCSE students, and adult learners returning to science often find themselves overwhelmed by the sheer volume of biological data. Truthfully, I sometimes struggle to explain just how complex the human body is without getting lost in the details. As an MD candidate in my 3rd year at the University of Melbourne, I rely on the rigor of medical school to keep my focus sharp. I scored 99+ on my ATAR with top marks in Biology and Chemistry, which gives me a solid foundation for teaching.
I have been tutoring for 2 years now. My approach is patient and tactical, focusing on what actually appears on the test.
I enjoy seeing students finally understand how enzymes and metabolism dictate the rhythm of life inside a cell. It is rewarding to guide someone from confusion to clarity. The best part of this process is watching a student finally connect abstract concepts like mitosis or genetics to real-world physiology.
