About Lacey
You deserve a calm teaching style that values patience above all else. My Bachelor of Music from the Australian National Academy of Music supports my 9 years of teaching piano. I work with nervous beginners and grade exam candidates alike.
I focus on rhythm and timing alongside chord voicing. Sight transposition remains a core part of my practice.
Scales and arpeggios build necessary strength for classical repertoire. Music theory concepts guide my students through sight playing. Proper hand independence relies on posture and hand position. Teaching is a process that continues.
