About James
Students wanting to improve their sight reading, rhythm and timing, or grade exam prep for ABRSM and Trinity often come to me. I work with 58 students to help them master sight playing and chord voicing.
Music theory and memorization techniques are integrated naturally into the process to build a strong foundation. My own history involves 3 years of teaching which informs how I balance technique with actual enjoyment. We will work toward your specific musical goals with focus and consistency.

Enjoyment comes from playing pieces that challenge your skills while feeling rewarding to hear. I create custom sheet music arrangements for the songs you choose to ensure engagement. This method covers the basics of accompaniment skills for 10 sessions. 3 years of teaching experience backs every instruction I provide.
