About Lucas
Instruction begins with the understanding that voice work is a physical discipline requiring immense mental focus. A single 60-minute session can drastically alter how you perceive your own range and tone. I incorporate recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to ensure that your progress remains steady between our meetings. Because I have 11 years of experience, I am able to anticipate the common pitfalls of pitch control and breathing that many students encounter.
We spend time on microphone technique and stylistic choices, ensuring your performance remains authentic to your chosen genre. I emphasize the importance of healthy vocal care, as this is the only way to sustain a long and healthy career. Working with teens and intermediate candidates requires a supportive environment where experimentation is encouraged.

My background as a native Spanish speaker influences how I approach diction and articulation across different genres. This journey through 11 years of teaching has been a blend of rigor and deep curiosity. I enjoy working with teens and intermediate learners who are preparing for demanding grade exams.
