About Aracely
Role play and dialogue practice form the foundation of my teaching, alongside specific focus on idioms and expressions that bring language to life. During my 13 years in the classroom, I have used my MA in Applied Linguistics from Boston College to help students refine their pronunciation and build conversational fluency. Teaching everyday phrases for beginners remains my specialty, whether we are working on grammar or sharpening writing skills.
My approach comes directly from my roots in Guadalajara where language is woven into music, film, and food. You might catch me humming a classic bolero or discussing a regional recipe while we work. Hasta pronto, and I look forward to meeting you.

First sessions involve a simple conversation to gauge your comfort level with current vocabulary and pronunciation. Since I have 13 years of teaching history, I keep the atmosphere relaxed so you feel at ease speaking from the start.
We will integrate your favorite cultural elements like film clips or song lyrics to keep the practice feeling authentic and connected to Latin America. Weekly conversation practice recordings are reviewed together to track your progress and highlight areas for improvement.
I incorporate the 9.0 rating standard into how we measure your growth over time. You will find that my background in linguistics ensures we address structural questions without losing the momentum of our chat.
Dealing with complex grammar happens naturally through these discussions rather than via boring drills. These meetings allow you to hear your own development in real time. We simply keep the rhythm going until we hit our natural stopping point.
