About Whitney
Adapting your favorite song requests into SIMPLE ARRANGEMENTS makes learning much more enjoyable. Does finding the right chord transition ever leave you feeling stuck or frustrated? During our time together, we look at fingerpicking and barre chords using the methods I honed during my university years.
We can also cover lead guitar, scales, or even basic maintenance for your instrument. I bring my experience as a performer to help you feel at home with your guitar. It really is about making music that you love to play.

Completing my BA Musique populaire at UQAM gave me the foundation to teach diverse musical styles. To be honest, I prefer the warmth of a folk song over strict academic drills. Teaching 444 students has shown me how to break down complex theory into manageable parts. Teens and adults often find my methods match their own learning pace perfectly.
