About Danielle
I start by offering a free trial lesson to gauge your starting level and technical needs. You might find yourself working through a simple scale or a complex bowing pattern as we begin to align our goals. My 13 years of experience allow me to detect subtle errors in your posture or intonation before they become habits. I use my background in both the Conservatoire and McGill to help you understand the physics of your instrument.
My students often appreciate how I break down difficult passages into small, achievable movements that eventually flow into a coherent performance. I simply want to ensure you play with comfort.

Playing violin is a discipline I started long ago, almost by necessity. It remains a central part of my life, even now.
I help 498 students across the board, from absolute beginners to those returning after long breaks. My focus centers on tone production and left hand agility. I appreciate a calm, structured environment for all my pupils.
We will work on your classical repertoire and orchestral skills at your own speed. I aim to keep the process manageable and focused on steady improvement.
