About Thalia
My interest in architecture started during my Bachelor’s in Architecture and expanded while completing a Master’s in Architectural Design. Over 6 years of teaching, I have guided students through the complexities of design, visualization, and spatial planning with patience, clarity, and structured support. I focus on helping learners discover their creative potential, build confidence, and develop technical proficiency in a supportive, engaging environment.
I design lessons to balance theory, practical exercises, and creative exploration. Beginners learn essential drawing and design skills, intermediate students refine project development, and advanced learners tackle conceptual design, portfolio creation, and architectural problem-solving. I use a combination of visual guides, examples, discussions, and modeling exercises to ensure students gain both skill and confidence.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with architectural projects, sustainable design studies, and urban development research, incorporating insights into lessons to enrich learning. Watching students grow from uncertainty to mastery, develop a distinct creative voice, and approach design challenges with clarity and confidence is deeply rewarding. My goal is to nurture both technical skill and creative imagination, helping learners thrive in architecture with passion and capability.

Architecture becomes exciting and inspiring when students learn how to translate ideas into functional, aesthetic spaces. My lessons cover design principles, spatial planning, sketching, model making, and visual communication. I focus on developing creativity, clarity of thought, and technical understanding in a structured, supportive environment. Beginners are introduced to basic design, proportion, and drawing techniques, while intermediate students explore project development, material choices, and spatial organization. Advanced learners focus on portfolio refinement, conceptual design, and real-world project simulation.
Lessons emphasize interactive and practical exercises, guiding students through step-by-step design development. Students create sketches, models, and design presentations that reinforce understanding of form, function, and aesthetics. Discussions on architecture history, contemporary trends, and real-world applications deepen learning, connecting creativity with practical problem-solving. I ensure every student gains confidence in visualizing and expressing ideas effectively.
Architecture instruction strengthens creative thinking, spatial reasoning, and problem-solving. Over time, students learn to approach design challenges thoughtfully, articulate concepts clearly, and refine their aesthetic judgment.
