About Sophia
My passion for architecture started with observing how spaces influence human experiences and community life. This curiosity led me to earn a B.Arch in Design followed by an M.Arch in Urban Planning. Over 9 years, I have guided students through both creative exploration and technical mastery, helping them build strong portfolios, analytical thinking, and expressive confidence. My teaching emphasizes connecting theory with practice while encouraging independent creative exploration.
I approach teaching with patience, clarity, and adaptability. Lessons combine conceptual discussion, hands-on modeling, and digital visualization tools to ensure each student gains both technical skills and creative insight. I encourage experimentation, critical thinking, and refinement of ideas, allowing learners to express a personal design philosophy.
Outside teaching, I stay engaged with architectural research, sustainable design initiatives, and urban planning developments.
