About Lena

I hold a B.Arch and an M.Arch in Urban Design, with 12 years of experience teaching architecture and guiding students through creative and technical challenges. My academic journey allowed me to explore architectural design from conceptual beginnings to complex urban systems, helping me develop a holistic understanding of how spaces influence human experience. My teaching philosophy is grounded in patience, encouragement, and thoughtful guidance. I take time to understand each student’s creative mindset, helping them overcome self-doubt and refine their ideas with clarity. I believe students grow best when they feel supported in both experimentation and discipline, allowing creativity to develop naturally. Beyond teaching, I remain deeply engaged with architecture through design research, urban studies, sketching, and continuous exploration of sustainable practices. Teaching architecture is fulfilling to me because I witness students grow more confident, expressive, and purposeful in their creative journey, discovering their ability to shape meaningful spaces.

About the lesson

Architecture becomes engaging when students understand how ideas transform into functional, meaningful spaces. My lessons focus on helping learners explore design principles, spatial relationships, proportion, and visual storytelling in a structured yet creative way. Through sketches, conceptual discussions, and real-world architectural examples, I guide students to understand how form, function, and context interact.

Beginners learn foundational concepts such as basic drawing techniques, scale, composition, and spatial visualization. Intermediate learners develop stronger skills in design development, material understanding, site analysis, and presentation methods. Advanced learners focus on project structuring, portfolio refinement, conceptual narratives, and professional design communication. Each lesson encourages creativity while maintaining clarity and discipline.

Architecture lessons help students develop confidence in expressing ideas visually and verbally. Over time, learners become more observant, imaginative, and precise in their thinking. My goal is to help students discover their creative identity while building strong design fundamentals that support long-term growth.
