About Lainey
My interest in architecture began with fascination for spatial design and structural creativity. Over nine years, I have guided students from foundational concepts to advanced design execution, nurturing creative thinking, technical skill, and professional confidence. Witnessing learners produce innovative designs and gain self-assurance is deeply fulfilling. My teaching philosophy emphasizes applied learning, conceptual exploration, and fostering independent and imaginative thinkers. I focus on personalized instruction, iterative design, and reflective practice. Lessons adapt to student abilities and interests, encouraging creativity, problem-solving, and critical evaluation. Challenges are reframed as opportunities to develop design intuition, analytical thinking, and resilience. Outside teaching, I explore contemporary architecture, sustainable design, and innovative modeling techniques to enrich lessons.
