About Maya
My interest in Architecture started with a fascination for how spaces influence behavior, emotions, and everyday experiences. This passion inspired me to complete a Bachelor of Architecture followed by a Master of Architecture in Sustainable Design. During my 4 years of teaching experience, I have worked closely with students to develop their design abilities while helping them gain confidence in presenting and refining ideas.
I believe successful architectural education should encourage curiosity and independent thinking. My teaching style focuses on guiding students through design challenges while helping them understand the reasoning behind architectural decisions. Through project reviews, discussions, and practical exercises, I create a supportive environment where learners can develop both technical and creative skills.
Outside teaching, I enjoy exploring innovative building projects, environmental design strategies, and urban planning concepts. These interests help me bring contemporary ideas and practical perspectives into my lessons. Watching students grow into confident designers remains one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

My Architecture lessons focus on helping students develop a complete understanding of the design process from concept to presentation. Learners explore architectural composition, spatial planning, site evaluation, environmental design, building materials, and visual communication techniques. I encourage students to think beyond aesthetics and consider functionality, sustainability, and user experience in every project. Through guided exploration and practical exercises, learners build both creative confidence and technical understanding.
Lessons are adapted to suit individual learning goals and levels of experience. Beginners develop skills in sketching, perspective drawing, design fundamentals, and spatial awareness. Intermediate students strengthen concept development, presentation techniques, and project organization. Advanced learners focus on portfolio preparation, design refinement, sustainable strategies, and architectural storytelling. Continuous feedback helps students improve while developing their own design identity.
Architecture is a discipline that combines creativity with thoughtful problem-solving. My goal is to help students learn how to communicate ideas effectively, evaluate design choices critically, and approach projects with confidence. Every lesson supports both artistic growth and professional development while creating a positive and motivating learning environment.
