About Manika
I'm a recent graduate of Architecture from the University of Cambridge, and have experience tutoring students on architecture admissions, and at GCSE and A level, History, Art and English. I have a huge passion for sharing my excitement for and success in these subjects, while also helping students fulfil every ambition academically.
Having achieved A* in A Levels (Cambridge Pre-U) in English, History and Art, I am able to provide high quality tuition to students for GCSE, As and A Level/Pre-U/IB. I have 4 years' experience tutoring these subjects, and as such have plethora of advice, lesson plans, and knowledge across boards to share with students.
These skills translate well to help students complete the architecture admissions process successfully, where numerous skills (drawing, writing, presentation) are tested. Having conducted mock interviews for both Architecture and Oxbridge applicants during my time at university, I also provide the perspective of an Oxbridge interviewer, so students are best prepared when they enter an interview. I am particularly interested in helping students develop their portfolio and essay skills, which will need to be tailored for each university, using my experience as a former student of architecture, to give them the tools they need to succeed during the admissions process, and to be carried forward into their degree.
