About Zara

I'm an architectural graduate with a couple of years of experience in the field. By now I know how to craft Revit to suit your needs. My skills include; - Creating templates and family models for firms. - Helping companies to shift from AutoCAD to Revit. - Knowledge of industry standards in terms of design projects. - Experience with documentation/construction projects. - Taking projects from concept to detailed design stage. - Revit rendering experience and exporting models to Lumion to get quality and time-saving renders. I am happy to tutor both industry professionals and students alike. - I have been helping my classmates with using Revit since I was in university, so I know the frustration of not knowing how to utilize Revit to your needs.

About the lesson

(Please note, during the next few weeks I can only give online lessons due to other commitments). Revit is a powerful program for both 3D concepts and detailed documentation. If you have a project in mind, I can help you utilize this program to suit YOUR specific need. The lessons will therefore depend on how you need to use this program. Lessons can be divided into two categories; Template/model creation or Project-based tutoring. Template/model creation includes; -Basics of Revit -Creating efficient templates and family models to suit YOU -Gathering a library of models and files to support your template Project-Based teaching - I usually assess your existing knowledge of Revit then build on it. Lessons include; -Basics of Revit + User Interface -Creating sheet templates to suit different disciplines -3D and 2D aspects of Revit PLEASE NOTE AutoCAD is only taught as a 'link' to Revit, so if you have a CAD file that needs adjusting to insert into Revit, then we'll use AutoCAD for that purpose only.

Perfect! Zara is an excellent tutor, she is friendly and most of all very patient for newbies like myself! She has assisted me with many Revit questions and processes, if something couldn't be answered straight away, Zara would follow it up later with solutions. I highly recommend Zara to anyone.

Perfect! Zahraa is the most delightful young woman, she taught me the basics and upwards of the Revit program & some AutoCAD. She is very accomplished in knowing about Revit and articulate in her teaching style of the software, also patient when you need a little bit more time to understand and a lovely personality. I need further training and I'll definetly be calling Zahraa again soon. I couldn't recommend her more highly. All the best in the meantime Zahraa.

Tina was using Revit for the first time and needed to understand all the 'how-to' in Revit. She is good at noticing details and note-taking. We started by diving into sketching an existing house and seeing how to produce the plans in Revit.
I could see a lot of potential for her to become skilled with this program. She was a pleasure to teach.
