About Bek
I’ve lived in Glasgow all my life and career, and graduated from Strathclyde University in 2018 with a Masters degree in Architecture and have worked in practice for both small-scale and large-scale studios.
Additionally, I’m passionate about being pro-active in diversifying the Architecture industry. I also understand that tutoring can be a really valuable but inaccessible resource; therefore if you think you would benefit from my assistance but can’t afford it, contact me and we might be able to work something out.
I am an innovative and conscientious designer and I believe that lived experience is invaluable to design. My aim is to bring different perspectives and solutions to your projects to allow your design to reach its full potential.
When not working the day job, I’m branching into events architecture, like creating sets for festivals and performance art events. I’m passionate about architecture’s relationship to the wider creative industry!

Hello, I’m Bek.
Architectural tutors in university can overcomplicate things and occasionally be critical without constructive feedback. My approach is different; I want to foster the positive aspects in your design and build those skills that will allow you to become a more rounded designer.
I have experience tutoring students from first year to fourth year and understand that each year group and individual has different needs. In our first session we will discuss requirements for the semester and key goals and the outcomes you would like from the sessions. I regard myself as someone who is open minded and will adapt my sessions to suit your goals.
I can offer design tutorials and critique, assistance with developing your concept and presentation ideas. I will also be able to assist with specific topics such as construction detailing, space planning and software tutorials/queries. My software knowledge is vast with years of experience working in practice using the following – Revit, AutoCAD, Sketch-Up, Photoshop and Indesign.
